I enjoyed my stay at this lovely hutong hotel, which offers a unique, authentic experience away from the touristy spots. The rooms were simple yet felt like home, and the friendly host provided excellent recommendations. However, the location is a bit further from some popular attractions, and the lack of tourist maps was a small inconvenience. All in all, it’s great value for money and ideal for those looking for a genuine local experience.

My stay at Templeside Deluxe Hutong House was a wonderful experience, immersing me in authentic Beijing life with its vibrant surroundings. The rooms were charming and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly hospitable. However, the plumbing situation in the hutongs took some getting used to. The location is ideal for exploring the local culture, but navigating taxi access can be a bit challenging at times.

This hotel offers a unique stay in the heart of a traditional Hutong, giving you a real taste of Beijing's culture. The rooms are clean and surprisingly spacious, while the staff goes out of their way to help with everything from travel arrangements to local recommendations. Although it's a bit tricky to find and a 10-minute walk to the subway, it provides great value for money in an authentic setting. Just be prepared for a quirky bathroom setup that might catch you off guard.

Though it's tucked away in a traditional Hutong, it's not too touristy, and the atmosphere is genuine. Be ready for a good 10-minute walk to the subway, but taxis are cheap.
Dining

Breakfast options like scallion pancakes and black vegetable soup were delicious and incredibly cheap, adding to the overall value of the stay.

Templeside Deluxe House Hutong offers a unique, non-touristy experience in Beijing. The rooms are comfortable and provide a glimpse into local life, but the service can be hit or miss, and the dining isn't anything special. Overall, it's a great value in a city where many hotels can be quite pricey, but with some aspects needing improvement.

I recently stayed in a delightful area of old Beijing with a unique atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful, and it's wonderful to feel immersed in local life. However, the accommodations themselves were less than ideal, with cleanliness and maintenance being significant issues. While I loved the bustling neighborhood, the service could use some improvement, especially in attentiveness and friendliness.
